Description
Today I designed a tray for the WORBY system, continuing the idea of making parts that are optimized for how they are printed. The tray is split into two parts, allowing each piece to be printed in the ideal orientation for maximum layer adhesion and strength.
After printing, the parts are assembled into a solid, clean tray that integrates seamlessly into the WORBY setup. The design avoids supports entirely while still delivering a strong and reliable result.
Another step in my Everydays Challenge, focusing on smarter design decisions and improving real-world usability through better print strategy 🔧
