Description

These are simple drop-in replacement pins for the stock NR200 top fan mounts. The original pins only support regular-thickness fans but model lets you mount 120x120x15 slim fans instead while also allowing you to use the fan grills without screws. Pictures feature the Noctua NF-A12x15s.


This design uses a pin and a washer, put the washer on first then grill then pin. The pin will lock the whole setup firm into the black rubber of the case top panel. Check pictures for more details.

Notes

  • Drop-in replacement for the stock pins.
  • Designed for 120x120x15 slim fans.
  • Uses a separate printed washer to secure the fan grill with the right gap
  • Tool-free compared to the stock pin + screw setup.
  • Shown installed with Noctua NF-A12x15 slim fans.

Print settings

  • A full plate of 8 is basically stringing test on some printers so for best results use the Full set P1 and Full set P2, which print the pins in object order instead of by layer giving you much cleaner pins
  • Print 4 pins and 4 washers per fan.
  • No supports needed.
  • Material doesn't really matter but higher temp resistance is always appreciated when pc components can get hot
