I’ve tested various materials, and PLA is the clear winner. It provides the rigidity needed for a true "ping" sound and a snappy, predictable bounce.

⚠️ A Note on TPU: Don't bother with TPU for this one! While it's durable, it makes the ball mushy and kills the bounce entirely. Stick to PLA for that authentic table tennis feel.

Print Settings

• Material: PLA (Works great and holds its shape!)
• Layer Height: 0.12mm (Lower is better for a smooth, aerodynamic surface).
• Wall Loops: 2 (Keep it light so it flies fast).
• Infill: 10% - 15%.
• Supports: Minimal tree supports are recommended for the very bottom.
