Fully customisable and parametric Soft Jaws for your vice, bench clamp, etc.
OPENscad customiser: Enter the length, depth and height of your vice jaws, the required soft pad thickness, and the thickness of the top and side walls. You can deselect the inclusion of the side walls if you wish, and choose to render either both jaws, or just one.

PLA works well for strong soft jaws. For very soft jaws, use TPU. The rendering orientation will produce the strongest jaws, but you can also change the relative softness using any filament by turning the jaw face vertical on your bed before slicing and playing with walls, fill type and fill percentage.
