Description

A clean, functional enclosure for the GM328 Transistor Tester. This design is a universal fit for the most common PCB layouts, supporting both portable battery-powered use and external power setups.

Features

  • Dual Power Ready: Internal space for a 9V battery plus cutouts for USB and DC power jacks.
  • Complete Access: Precision cutouts on the bottom for easy access to testing headers and I/O pins.
  • Modular Design: The Display Lid is optional. The case is fully functional without it, but adding it protects the screen and improves the visual appearance.
  • No AMS Required: Optimized for single-filament printing.
  • Adaptable: Designed to fit most GM328 implementations. If your specific board version needs a slight tweak, please leave a comment with the dimensions.

Hardware Requirements

  • 4x M2.6 Screws (6mm–10mm length) to secure the PCB to the base.
  • Friction Fit: The lid stays in place via friction; no glue or extra hardware required.

Print Settings

  • Profile: 0.20mm layer, 2 walls, 15% infill, no supports.
  • [optional] Enable "Ironing" on all top surfaces for a smoother look.

Assembly

  1. Connect the 9V battery and place it in the integrated battery bay.
  2. Align the PCB over the four pillars and secure it using the M2.6 screws. Slightly better screws are not a problem, holes are ~2.4mm.
  3. Optional: Snap the lid into the top opening. It is held by friction for easy removal if needed.
