Assembly Instructions:
The magnets are glued into place. Make sure your magnets are placed correctly! It's easy to accidentally flip one when gluing it into place in the opposite piece. To avoid mistakes, I typically glue all of the magnets into the deck box first. Then just put the opposing magnet on top of the magnets you just glued into place. Use something like a sharpie or other method of marking the top of the magnet so it's easy to identify which side needs to be place into the whole in the lid. Doing them one at a time avoids mistakes....so I've heard...because this has never happened to me....ever.... ;)
The hinge pin is just a piece of standard Bambu Lab PLA Basic Black filament. I slide a piece through and leave about 1/8" (3.175mm) sticking out of each end. Then I use a soldering iron with a flat tip to melt the solder towards the hinge creating a flat button (kind of like a nail or screw head). I do this on both ends to prevent the filament from sliding out.
