Description

Designed for building lightweight portable Yagi antennas using a 20mm boom system. These 3D printable parts are made to simplify assembly while keeping everything strong, modular, and easy to transport.

This set includes:

  • Element clips sized for 6mm tubing (aluminium, brass etc)
  • Boom mounting system for a 20mm boom specifically
  • Clip spacers for accurate and repeatable element positioning (superglue does the trick)
  • Compact choke/balun box for feedpoint cable management
  • Carry handle for portable operation
  • Tripod mount for quick field deployment
  • Phone holder attachment for satellite tracking antenna alignment

Perfect for amateur radio, satellite work, direction finding, or custom portable antenna projects. The modular design allows easy modification and scaling for different Yagi configurations, the one in the photos is specifically made for the 70cm band, see below for the calculator I used)
 

Recommended materials:

  • PETG or ASA for outdoor durability
  • PLA works for indoor/testing use - Mine is PLA because I can never get out the house anyway!!

Hardware requirements may vary depending on your build, but the system is designed around:

  • 20mm boom
  • 6mm elements/tubing
