Motivation

I made this Euro Coins set to teach my child about money and play without getting our hands dirty with real coins. 

I searched for Euro Coins to print but there was always something that personally bothered me about the existing models.

 

Design Features

• Real size - Can be used for shopping carts too!
• With the words “Euro” and “Cent” instead of symbols ("€") or abbreviations ("ct")
• Double sided numbers
• Flat
• If Multicolor, then only at the first and last 2 layers to save filament
• Single color profile with engraved text, to save filament and time

Notes on printing

The plates and settings in the print profiles are already optimized. 

• The order of the filament color for the first layer is important! 
  • First the background color, then the number/text
• The settings in the print profile are optimized to only have color change in the first and last 2 layers

• Use wall generator: Arachne

• Obviously, only use these coins for legal matters! 
• Do NOT try too fool any vending machine or device!
• NOT for children under 3 years old! Choking risk!
• Never let a child alone with these if they can put them in their mouth!
