Description
This is a Legion Go Dual Screen remix of this model which appears to have been taken down or glitched as of this post time, (May 15th). Heres the original link before modification- https://www.printables.com/model/1126266-legion-go-dual-screen-atachment
It can be used for multitasking or for playing 3DS and DS games with a dual screen. This takes several steps to complete but this is a complete guide to all of them. It is made for a kindle fire tablet (5th generation) but can be changed with some work to fit other devices. Feel free to remix with those models for other devices.
Step 1
Print both pieces and remove all supports. I printed them in PETG and I'm not 100% sure PLA would work. Once printed fully remove supports and be careful not to break the things that hold onto the legion go. Also remove the tiny piece shown in the image below on both of the models.
Step 2
Get a 5/16, three inches long bolt with a washer and a nut. We got these part at our local hardware store but Lowe's or Home Depot would work too. Then simply place the bolt through with the top and bottom part lined up. Then place the washer on the bolt and screw on the nut. You may need to use a wrench to get tight enough for the hinge to work as expected.
Step 3
Lastly, place the Legion DS onto the Legion go and slide on the Kindle Fire Tablet. There are holes for zipties if you want a tighter fit. Now all you need to do is install Apollo onto the Legion Go, with this link-https://github.com/ClassicOldSong/Apollo and download and install moonlight through APK or Google Playstore on the Fire Tablet. Once you go through the setup process of pairing the two devices, select “Virtual Display” on moonlight and place the two emulator windows on designated screens. Now you are ready to play dual screen games on your Lenovo Legion Go.
