Your home office setup isn't complete until it's secure. Most laptops, webcams, and monitors do not come with a physical curtain or slider to block the camera lens. Hackers do not sleep - your camera is a vulnerability that could potentially be accessed by third parties. This tiny, fast-printing model solves that problem by giving you the physical security layer your devices are missing.
Because personalizing your tech is an extension of your home decor, this isn't just a simple "one-size-fits-all" cover. It is fully customizable! You can fine-tune it exactly for your laptop or display by adjusting the length, width, and lid thickness. You can choose a slider or a simple clip, and even upload a custom image to make it an aesthetic part of your desk setup.

1) Simple Clip
Functionality: No slider. It simply snaps onto your lid and sits there, covering your camera lens.
Effort: Minimal. Zero assembly, prints incredibly fast.
Design Note: After measuring your laptop lid, add about ~0.2mm of tolerance to the thickness setting to ensure it slides on smoothly but sits securely.
Printing Note: If printing without a custom logo, keep the orientation exactly as it appears in the editor (upside down like a "U") for a support-free print. If you add a custom logo, orient the cover so the logo touches the build plate for the best surface finish—just note that you will need supports for the overhangs.
2) Slider Clip
Functionality: Sits on your lid with a built-in sliding mechanism. You don't need to remove the clip to access your camera; just slide the cover sideways.
Effort: Easy. The assembly is straightforward - the sliding part just snaps into the main clip's tracks. Then, clip the whole piece onto your screen.
Design Note: Like the Simple Clip, add ~0.2mm of tolerance to your lid measurement. Because the slider needs to move left and right, you want the main clip to grip your screen tightly enough that it doesn't shift when you push the slider. You may want to print a couple of test sizes to find that happy medium!
Printing Note: Keep the orientation exactly as generated in the editor and print with supports. This exact orientation is required to maintain the tolerances of the sliding tracks. Printing it sideways will distort the geometry and the slider won't work.
3) Sticky Slider
Functionality: Contains the exact same sliding mechanism, but removes the back clip entirely. You mount this directly to your laptop bezel using double-sided mounting tape.
Effort: Medium. It prints beautifully without supports and snaps together easily, but you will need to provide and cut your own double-sided tape to attach it.
Design Note: Measure the height of your laptop's top bezel carefully to ensure the cover doesn't hang down over your actual screen.

⚠️ Important Tip for Supports
If you are printing a version that requires supports, be very gentle when removing them! Because this model is only a few millimeters thick, applying too much force while prying off supports can snap the thin plastic walls.
Decorate with a Custom Logo
You can engrave or print a custom logo onto the front of your cover, the slider, or even the pull-nub!
Format: You must use an .SVG file format. This is the vector graphic standard that CAD software can convert into 3D objects.
