Description

A fully customizable cover-cutting jig for bookbinding, scrapbooking, junk journals, photo albums, and any hardcover project. Enter your chipboard size and printer bed size - the model handles the rest.

🩷 What it does 

You set the cover size and printer bed, the template auto-adapts to fit your printer:

  • Small enough → single 3-window frame with front cover, spine, and back cover in one piece
  • Too big for one frame → switches to a 2-window frame (front + spine), print two copies per book
  • Still too big → splits into a 2 or 4-piece puzzle with locking lollipop joints, each piece labeled for easy assembly
  • Doesn't fit at all → clear on-model warning so you know to resize or use a bigger printer

Built-in bookbinding math handles corner mitering, hinge gaps, and turn-in margins using industry-standard formulas. The corner chamfer auto-adjusts for paper, cloth, leather, or padded covers. Override anything manually if needed.



🩷  Print settings

PLA or PETG, 0.2 mm layer height, 15% infill, 2-3 walls. No supports needed. Default Z-thickness 4 mm.

  • Printer & Frame Splitting - bed size, split mode, puzzle tolerance 
  • Chipboard Dimensions - cover W × H, spine thickness, chipboard thickness 
  • Cover Material - paper / cloth / leather / padded Frame Finishing - turn-in margin, joint gap, corner chamfer (auto or manual) 
  • Template Thickness - Z-axis thickness 
  • Engraving - size label, decorative symbol (heart / star / flower), custom brand text
