Flashforge Creator 5 TopHat (FREE)

This is a free TopHat enclosure extension designed for the Flashforge Creator 5.

The Creator 5 is an excellent toolchanger platform, but unlike the Creator 5 Pro, it ships without an enclosure. This TopHat was designed to help close that gap by improving heat retention around the build area while maintaining full compatibility with the stock machine.

After multiple design iterations and testing, this version has successfully passed our validation tests and is now being released to the community free of charge.

Current Status

This TopHat has completed testing and is considered ready for everyday use.

Please note that this design only covers the TopHat section. Front and rear enclosure solutions are currently under development and will be released separately once testing has been completed.

Printing Recommendations

• Print in PETG, ASA or ABS for best durability.
• PLA is not recommended if your enclosure temperatures become elevated.
• Use sufficient wall count and infill for structural rigidity.
• u can either print the 3D print dowels OR get wooden dowel pins Ø6mm × length 30–40mm

BOM

• 3M VHB double-sided tape, width 10mm
• Foam tape thickness 1mm, width 10mm
• OPTIONAL wooden dowel pins Ø6mm × length 30–40mm (22 pieces)

• Front: 39.1cm x 25.1cm
• Back: 39.1cm x 25.1cm
• Left: 35.6cm x 25.1cm
