Universal wet wipes package lid

Give your wet wipes package a durable, reusable lid that keeps the wipes moist and easy to access.

This design consists of two separate parts that securely clamp onto the original opening of a wet wipes package. One part is inserted inside the package, while the outer frame snaps on from the outside. The package material is firmly trapped between the two pieces with a tab and groove design to ensure that the lid does not accidentally come loose during everyday use.

The outer part also includes a print-in-place hinged lid, allowing you to easily open and close the package with one hand. Keeping the lid closed helps prevent the wipes from drying out and makes them much more convenient to use. Perfect for bathrooms, kitchens, workshops, cars, RVs, or anywhere you regularly use wet wipes.

The lid features a stylized "Wipes" text, but a version without AMS is also available on plate 2.

Compatibility

Important: This design is intended for wet wipes packages with a rounded opening size of 30 mm × 50 mm. Smaller openings are not suitable and attempting to install the model on them is not recommended. Slightly larger openings do work.

The model has been created to fit Floralys wet wipes (Lidl brand). It should also fit other brands with similar packaging dimensions.

Scaling

The model can be scaled, but only to a limited extent. Be aware that scaling also changes the precisely designed clearances, snap-fit tolerances, and hinge dimensions. Excessive scaling may negatively affect the fit and functionality of the model.

For best results, print at 100% scale.

Assembly

Make sure the package opening is 30 × 50 mm or bigger.

Insert the inner piece sideways inside the package.

Align the inner piece so that the four ledges stick outside of the opening

Align the outer frame and press the two pieces together until they click into place.

Close the lid and enjoy a cleaner, more convenient wet wipes dispenser.

Printing

Both parts can be printed separately on the same plate.

No supports required.

PETG recommended but standard PLA works as well.

A version without AMS is also included for single-color printing.
