DescriptionCommentsTags

Description

This is a 3D printed adapter designed for Cube road bike stems. It sits under the stem cap like a thin spacer and provides a mounting point for a 34mm round Garmin-style quarter-turn insert.

Once the insert is installed, you can attach a Garmin Edge cycling computer or other compatible Garmin-style quarter-turn accessories directly above the stem for a clean, centered cockpit setup.

The design is useful if you want a compact mount without using a handlebar clamp or out-front mount. It keeps the device close to the stem, centered on the bike, and integrated with the headset/stem area.

Compatibility

Designed for:

  • Cube road stems
  • 34mm round Garmin-style inserts
  • Garmin Edge devices
  • Garmin-compatible quarter-turn accessories
  • Some non-Garmin bike computers or accessories when used with the correct adapter

Possible compatible brands include Bryton, iGPSPORT, Magene, XOSS, Coospo, and Wahoo with a Garmin-to-Wahoo adapter.

Notes

The 34mm Garmin insert is not included unless printed or supplied separately.
Check your stem shape, cap clearance, and bolt length before use.
For safety, make sure the mount does not interfere with steering, headset preload, or stem clamping.
For the insert - you can use Garmin k-edge insert: https://r2-bike.com/K-EDGE-Garmin-Insert-Replacement-Kit

Or 3d printed version: https://makerworld.com/en/models/185327-garmin-mount?from=search#profileId-210567

For QuickFit Fenix 7 I used: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1745629-quickfit-garmin-watch-22mm-47mm#profileId-1855452

Suggested print use

Best printed in a strong material such as PETG, ASA, ABS, PA, or carbon-filled filament. PLA may work for testing, but it is not recommended for long-term outdoor or hot-weather use.
