French Alps Mountain Parametric Keychain

Create your own personalized mountain keychain with a clean alpine silhouette and raised details.

This parametric model lets you generate a custom name keychain inspired by famous mountain profiles, with selectable Mont Blanc or Dent d’Oche silhouettes. You can customize the text, font, size, colors, ring position, snow style, contour lines, and overall dimensions directly from MakerWorld’s Parametric Model Maker.

The model is designed for easy two-color printing: the body and raised details are separated by height, making it ideal for AMS printing, manual color changes, or layer-height coloring in the slicer. The snow caps, border, divider line, and raised text are all generated as detail features above the main body.

PRINTING TIPS

For a clean two-color result, print the main body in one color and the raised details in another.

Recommended setup:

• Layer height: 0.20 mm
• Body thickness: 3.1 mm
• Detail height: 0.6 mm
• 2 or 3 wall loops
• 15–20% infill
• No supports required

The default body height is set to 3.1 mm to make layer-based coloring easier in the slicer. You can color everything above this height to highlight the text, snow caps, border, and divider line.

By default, the contrast details and raised text are set to 0.6 mm above the main body. With the default values, the main body goes up to 3.1 mm, and the contrast details go from 3.1 mm to 3.7 mm.

If you change the body thickness or detail height in the customizer, make sure to adjust your slicer coloring height accordingly.

For better name positioning or advanced customization, you can also generate the model without text and add the name separately in your slicer.

For best results, use a contrasting color for the text and snow details.
