🎙️ Turn your voice into a keychain - 3D print the sound of a moment
Record a few seconds - “I love you”, a laugh, a pet’s bark, a baby’s first word - and this turns the sound wave into a small, two-color keychain you can carry everywhere. Every wave is unique, because every voice is.
Boost MeThis model is free to download and print. Even better: you can make your own from any sound at https://tanskylab.com/soundwave - 100% free, no limits. A free boost really helps!
✨ Make it yours (free generator)
- 🎤 Record or upload — a few seconds from your mic, or drop in an audio/song file
- 🔒 Private by design — the audio is processed entirely in your browser; nothing is uploaded
- ✂️ Trim to the exact moment with a simple slider — cut the silence, keep the magic
- 🌊 Wave styles — classic bars, slim bars or a smooth filled waveform
- 🔑 Keychain hole — on the side or tucked in the top corner
- 🅰️ Add a label — a name or date under the wave, four fonts, two sizes
- 🎨 Real Bambu filament colors — pick base + wave from the actual PLA palette (spool codes shown), so what you preview is what you print
🖨️ How to make yours
1. Go to https://tanskylab.com/soundwave
2. Record your sound (or upload a file) and trim it.
3. Choose the wave style, colors, size and the keychain hole.
4. Generate → download the ready-to-slice 3MF → open in Bambu Studio → print.
Base plate and the raised wave are set up as two colors with the filament change already placed - just print, swap the spool when prompted (or let your AMS do it).
⚙️ Print notes
- Small and fast: ~70 × 30 mm, ~1.6 mm thick, roughly 30 minutes to print
- Two colors, one filament change - works great without an AMS (single pause & swap)
- Prints flat, no supports; rounded corners and a clean keychain hole
- 0.08 mm layers for a crisp wave
💬 Made one? Post a make - I’d love to see whose voice you printed. More sounds, more keychains: https://tanskylab.com/soundwave
