Bed Supports Ender 5 & Ender 5 Pro

Bed reinforcement brackets for the Ender 5 and Ender 5 Pro in order to reduce vibrations and make the bed more stable.

Advantages over other models:

• stronger if print correctly (see below)
• less material - less weight
• no Z losing

PRINTING

Material: because parts of brackets are close to the heated bed I highly recommend using a heat resistant filament like PETG or better. I used PA CF15.

Orientation: rotate the parts 45 degree and print them like this:

Settings: min 4 perimeters (for 0.4mm nozzle), 25%+ infill, no supports, infill angle 0 (very important!).

POST-PROCESSING

Use a drill or a screw to break the holes.

MOUNTING

BOM for 2 supports:

• 8x M5x30 socket head cap screw
• 8x M5 nuts

IMPORTANT: don't over tight. You can damage the bearings and the smooth rods!
After installation verify if your Z works smoothly.

Use a zip tie to secure the brackets to the bed frame.
