Star Trek Flag Officer Ranks (Picard)

This is a design I've wanted to do for a while. Instead of trying to find rank pips online somewhere, why not print them?

Ranks are printed in Cosmic Black from Printbed and Overture Royal Silver that I believe was discontinued. Bambu Lab Silver PLA should be fine although I haven't personally used it.

Just add super glue and 6x3mm magnets. Put the rank bar under your shirt, collar, or uniform and attach the ranks (I keep the smooth side inward towards the skin, so assemble as you will so that the pips and rank bar attach how you want).

These rank insignia are part of my rank collection which is currently ongoing. I'll be working on more ranks from Star Trek history as time goes on.

I highly recommend printing on a smooth plate and personally like this light beam plate I picked up from AliExpress, but the Galaxy and Starry sheets from Bambu should work fine. Just something to provide a nice shiny, reflective finish.
