Description
Created an original design for a GoPro Hero Black 11 case out of TPU for my kids' GoPro. I looked at other models on MakerWorld, but was unhappy with the designs as they were made for special lenses or didn't make the buttons and LCDs available. GoPro's are very resilient but I wanted something a little extra to protect the edges from fall damage or being bumped. The intention for this model was to have a very snug fit, make all of the features of the GoPro available, and be a simple design.
I added the mounts in TPU and designed them to be a VERY tight fit, as I did not want them to be loose and cause the camera to not be unstable when mounted. It will fit but may require a bit of force the first couple of times you mount. I added pictures to show that it is usable with the mounts.
I printed this with supports in both organic and snug and landed with organic as it was easier to remove and worked fine for the print. (TPU supports are notoriously hard to remove). Snug supports will work just as well but was more difficult to remove from the inside, but I was able to accomplish it without damaging the case.
My primary print profile is with an 0.8mm nozzle. I typically print TPU with 0.8mm to reduce the overall time it takes to print since my TPU profiles are very slow but print well.
WARNING: I added a profile for 0.4mm nozzles, but I HAVE NOT TESTED THEM WITH TPU ONLY PLA which is not the intended use of this model. If anyone prints with 0.4mm profile and TPU please rate/let me know of a success and I will remove this warning.
(I did test this with PLA during design since play prints faster. PLA fits but you need to create a seam and a way to close it.)
