Anatomy of the Human Eye

1. Iris:
   • The colored part of the eye that controls the size of the pupil.

3. Lens:
   • Transparent, flexible structure located behind the iris and ciliary body.
   • Focuses light onto the retina by changing shape (bending) for better vision at various distances.
   • Helps with the accommodation process to maintain clear vision.
4. Cornea:
   • The clear, dome-shaped front surface of the eye.
   • Provides most of the eye's optical power and helps focus light onto the retina.
   • Acts as a barrier against dirt, germs, and other harmful materials.
5. Retina:
   • The innermost layer of the eye that contains photoreceptor cells (rods and cones).
   • Converts light into electrical signals, which are then sent to the brain via the optic nerve.

6. Sclera:
