AWP Asiimov Sniper Rifle (Rubber Band Gun)

This is a 3D-printed rubber band gun replica for display or responsible hobby use only. Do not aim at people or animals, do not modify it, and do not use in public spaces. Adult supervision required for minors. Use responsibly and in accordance with local laws.

Warning! This model is quite complex to assemble and requires non 3D printed components.

Print profile guide:

• AWP Asiimov (X1,A1 etc) - recommended profile without any modifications to the parts. Print all parts in this profile to complete the model.
• AWP Asiimov (A1 mini) - optimised profile for the A1 mini. Print all parts in this profile to complete the model. Refer to photos 8 and 9 to assemble the modified handguard and stock.
• AWP Asiimov (0.5 inch dowel barrel) - parts for a modified barrel suiting a ½ inch dowel for anyone in the US only. You will need to print the rest of the parts from the main profiles.

All additional hardware required has been moved to the Maker's Supply section. This means some components used has been updated in the building instructions. The full list of replaced parts is listed below.

•  M2 x 10 Phillips head screw → M2x10 BHCS Machine Screw (AA164)
• 2 x 5mm neodymium magnet → D5x2mm Round Magnet (CA006)
• M2 x 8 Phillips head self-tapping screw (SG90 screw) → M2x8 BHCS Machine Screw (AA044)
• 38 x 7mm extension spring → 0.5x5x40 mm Extension Spring (BA008)
• 17 x 5.5mm compression spring → 0.5x5x20mm Helical Compression Spring (BB007)

About This Model:

A 1:1 replica of the famous AWP Asiimov sniper rifle. This model is fully colour separated and does not require a multi-colour printer.

This model features:

• 100% Accurate skin straight from CS2/CS:GO.
• Bolt action mechanism.
• 5 round rubber band capacity.
• Rubber band storage in removable magazine.
• Foldable bipod.
• Accurate scope.

How To Use The Files:

The print files are provided in 3MF and STL format. Refer to the 3MF print profile for my recommended print settings for Bambu Lab printers. Use the STL files if you are comfortable with dialing in your own settings and want maximum control.

PDF building instructions are available and can be downloaded from the files section.

Additional Hardware:

Alongside the printed parts, you will also need some non-printed components. I have linked the ones I used above, which can be purchased from Maker's Supply by Bambu Lab. You will also need to use superglue for some of the parts.
