TapTo NFC Card Storage Box & Separator Cards

I wanted a browsing experience for NFC cards for the TapTo project that had the same feeling as rummaging through bins of vinyl at a record shop. So I put this together.

The box itself in this initial upload is 140mm long, however I will upload a couple of different sizes so they're ready to print. Generally speaking I think about 2mm long for each card you want to hold, gives you a good amount of room for the cards to lean back and have room to be shuffled through. So this box at 140mm long i would say is about ideal for 70 cards.

The example in my photo is 180mm long with 70 cards and you can see it's a bit too long with too much space for that many cards. Hence the 140mm.

It is of course easy enough to edit this with almost any cad editor with the included step files to whatever length you like. Line your cards up, tilt them over a bit, and measure them!

Also included some basic logo separators, and a blank one to customise as you like. Just grab an SVG of the logo or text you want, import it and emboss it however you like in whatever CAD program or slicer you prefer.

For colouring the text, since it's raised, you can just use the edge of a sharpie to quickly and neatly swipe over the top, no precise colouring needed!
