Khaby Lame - Magnet

This is a pair of Khaby Lame Hueforge prints with optional insets for magnets (4-15x15x1mm).more of a

• Plate 1 is more of a typical Hueforge print with a black base and its of a “front lit” model.
• Plate 2 is an alternate version and has a white base and is the better image but is not really good as a magnet as it takes advantage of a little light coming through from the back. Not exact a lithophane but not strictly “front lit” style.

Colors and filaments used are below but generally you need a black, a light brown, a regular brown, and a high TD/soft white.

Plate 1

Project: Khaby Lame v3 negative.hfp
Print at 100% infill with a layer height of 0.08mm with a base layer of 0.16mm

The Model is 200x180.2mm in size
You may print at higher layer heights below the Min Depth of 1.7mm
The Max Depth is 3.4mm and the Actual Depth is 3.2mm

PLA BambuLab Basic Black Transmission Distance: 0.6
PLA+ IIID Max Brown Transmission Distance: 1.2
PLA+ IIID Max Coyote Brown Transmission Distance: 3.6
PLA Creality Hyper White Transmission Distance: 13
This print uses 4 unique filaments

Swap Instructions:
Start with Black
At layer #31 (2.56mm) swap to Brown
At layer #35 (2.88mm) swap to Coyote Brown
At layer #38 (3.12mm) swap to Hyper White for the rest.
