💨 DIY Fume Extractor with Pop Tube - Flexible and Affordable Solution! 💨
I designed this fume extractor using a pop tube as a flexible, poseable arm to easily direct fumes away from your workspace. It’s paired with an off-the-shelf HEPA filter with activated charcoal, and fan making it a simple and affordable option for reducing exposure to fumes. While the filter itself may be HEPA-grade, the seal isn’t perfect, and the activated charcoal likely doesn’t filter all contaminants given the short time fumes pass through it.
The best practice is always good ventilation, and this fume extractor should always be combined with proper airflow in your workspace. For optimal protection, use this alongside good ventilation!
