Edit February 2nd, 2025:
- Added Shelves with 4 slots which are slightly wider than than 5 slot versions, as per a request.
Added 2 files for an inner corner. For example, if you want to round a corner from one table to another, keep shelves connected, and possibly have a continuation of shelves. I opted only to make a connection bracket on the bottom and a top shelf as I think any other parts would likely be useless.
Edit October 15th:
- I've added a “MiddleJoint.stl” file which is a double-sided end, this effectively allows you to connect in line as many pieces as you want in a row making 1 consecutive shelving unit. This piece will likely need “on buildplate” supports, and ideally a support specific material like the bambu support for PLA or PETG as an interface layer.
I created this model to display the collection of Zou3d models that we sell at shows and markets.
Boost MeIs this useful for you? Please shoot me a boost! :D
Some key points I wanted this model to incorporate:
- No hardware: I wanted this to be something that can be 100% fully 3d printed.
- Easy to assemble: When going to markets, we often have limited time for in/out so I needed something I can breakdown and put together easily. This take about 20 seconds.
- Portability: Since this is modular, its easy for me to throw into a bin and not worry about breakage.
- Flexibility: This design comes with a “Price box” which has 2 stands, and a slide in place system for either tiles, or custom longer plates. The price box is totally optional, and can be omitted if you don't want it.
I originally tried to incorporate a 5th tier, but it was simply too squished to work if I wanted to stick to making this a Bambu-compatible print.
Configurations:
Stand w/ Price Box
- Print 1x RightSideWall, 1x LeftSideWall, 3x Shelf and 1x TopShelfWithPriceStandsSlot
- Print PriceSignBox and either the Long or Short PriceHangerPole's.
- Fit the sides into the bottom shelf
- Fit the top shelf
- Slide the remaining 2 shelfs into the grooves until they can go no further back, then drop them into place.
- Fit the two Price Hanger Poles into the slots on the top shelf.
- Slide the “Price box” onto the two Price hanger poles
- Print either your own custom price tiles, or price slider with your custom pricing and wording. (I may in the future include a variety of pre-made tiles for mix/match)
Stand (No Pricing) - Assembly:
- Print 1x RightSideWall, 1x LeftSideWall and 4x Shelf
- Fit the sides into the bottom shelf
- Fit the top shelf
- Slide the remaining 2 shelfs into the grooves until they can go no further back, then drop them into place.
Printing Profiles:
I've just used a .24 layer height “Draft” setting in Bambu labs. This honestly comes out looking great, and I don't think any finer resolution is needed so that's what was uploaded, but by all means feel free to print how you think looks best.
