I did not create this game, however I did model everything from scratch.
This is a fun 2-player board game involving simple rules, simple win conditions, and deep strategy.
Setup:
- Each player chooses a color and sets up their pieces according the diagram on the board.
- Each piece will have the number shown on the board facing upwards and the number 4 facing the player (not the opponent)
- The key piece is placed in the center space indicated by the key piece pattern
Win Condition:
- Capture the opponent's key piece OR
- Move the player's key piece into the opponent's key piece space
Movement Rules:
- Players take turns moving one of their pieces a number of rolls indicated by the number face up on the die (the key piece may only move one space at a time)
- When moving a piece, it should roll to the next space by rotating 90 degrees over the lip on the game board (just tip it over into the adjacent square)
- A piece may make one directional change per turn. In other words: you can turn left OR right ONCE during a move, altering the direction of travel
Capturing
- An opponent's piece may be captured and removed from the board if the player's die lands on the same space at the end of the player's move
