Finishing Touches for My Halloween Party Cosplay

As I worked on completing my Banana samurai Halloween Party outfit, I realized that no samurai look is complete without a Wakizashi. Naturally, I needed one to pair with my Banana Katana. After leaving comments on Printy Ponky and Soap_warriors' posts about their Banana Katanas and not receiving any replies, I decided to take matters into my own hands.

Using a combination of Tinkercad and Blender—though mainly Tinkercad—I created a remix of the original design to craft my Wakizashi. I maintained the original thickness and scale for consistency, while shortening the blade to achieve the proper proportions for a Wakizashi.

The only issue? The banana top has a visible line where I had to remove a chunk to create a smaller hilt, but all things considered, I'm pretty happy with the result!

Thanks to Printy Ponky and Soap_warriors for the creation and remix.

NOTE: There should be no problems printing with this profile. Always use the filament profile for Bambu’s filament, even when using aftermarket filament, to avoid any potential issues. I used ZIRO WHITE PETG and EL EGOO FAST yellow PETG.

Please make sure to tension your printer belts and recalibrate your printer to avoid spaghetti and unaligned prints.

If blade breaks you can reprint the part and replace it just takes a little bit of patience.

Due to people not having common sense… please make sure to superglue the yellow parts.

-- PRINTING PROBLEMS --

I know how frustrating it can be to have problems during a print, and I’m happy to receive constructive criticism or suggestions about the model, but please always calibrate the flow and if you have adhesion problems, try using the brim or a gripper. All these fails are not due to the model.
All my files are tested before being published and the print profile with which I succeed is the one I publish.
Thank you very much for your understanding and happy printing to everyone!
