Cheese Dice!
Love ‘em, hate ’em, just don't eat them!
Edit: Daggerheart dice and box now available. Replaced the D20 with an extra D12.
This is a set of polyhedral dice that can be used for tabletop and TTRPG games! The dice are 150% to scale of commonly available polyhedral dice. This is to ensure all the details of the dice pop nicely. So normal dice won't fit in the box.
The box and lid screw together and hold all the dice nicely in place without them moving around. Each dice has it's own little cubbyhole where it fits.
The set contains the following dice;
To get a real Camembert box feel, I've added staples to both the box and the lid, and a “loose” hanging flap on the lid.
On the bottom of the box I've added a QR code which links to my page, in case you want to quickly share the files with others!
Printed on Textured PEI Plate
I highly recommend using a 0.2mm nozzle. This brings out all the details of the dice and the lettering of the lid.
For the Dice I recommend 0.08mm layer height as the dice have surfaces at overhanging angles where you need more surface area of the printed line especially at 0.2mm nozzle diameter.
For the Box and the Lid you can go 0.1mm layer height.
I noticed on the A1 that the open build plate had the D4 warp, and the D12 and D20 had irregular slanted surfaces on the lower half. So for the A1 and A1 Mini I've altered the Print Profile where those dice are to be printed separately.
I also added print profiles for the 0.4mm nozzle. But this might result in less detailed dice, and less detailed lettering and text on the lid. So be aware that the quality of the 0.4mm nozzle won't be as crisp as it is designed to be. But I can imagine not everyone having the 0.2mm nozzle but still would like to try with the 0.4mm nozzle.
If you have issues with bed adhesion, I recommend to use a little bit of Glue Stick and scrape the excess off of the Textured PEI Buildplate. This way the bottom surface still has a nice finish. Just rinse the printed parts afterwards with lukewarm water.
Enjoy and Happy Printing!
