Double Helix (DNA fidget vortex spiral toy)

Thanks go out to RJ Design for inspiring this! My model uses a double helix which doesn't need a top ring. No top ring means no support required!!

 

I've made ‘left turn’ and ‘right turn’ versions. Both use the same ball.

I prefer the ‘left turn’ version as the helix twists opposite to the ball.

 

It's easier inserting the ball from the bottom, but you'll quickly learn to align it and pop it in the top as well.

 

Please use the included print profiles. They have been tweaked a lot. The ball is raised to optimize support. I also ‘painted’ the seam lines to ensure a smooth print.
