Dummy 13 - Lara Croft (Classic) Costume

After discovering Dummy 13, by the fantastic soozafone over at Lucky Toys 13, I have absolutely fallen in love with the little figure. During my searching, I discovered Mici's work, which has has given me a fantastic idea for Christmas presents for a few of my geeky friends. I intend to create a few more updated Dummy 13 costumes, and rugged storage boxes (also a firm favourite of mine!), for Christmas presents (The intention being to provide Dummy 13 unbuild in the rugged storage box with the dummy 13 instructions), so stay tuned for more. I'm currently working on a couple of new characters that I haven't seen, 1x Marvel Character, and 1x DC Character, which I'm hoping to have out in the next few weeks, just need to get some grey filament.
 

This is a custom Dummy 13 remix, based on a classic video game character, Lara Croft. It took quite a while to adapt all the different pieces, as you can see, there were quite a few models in the mix here, but I think the end result has been totally worth it.

The bow is a modified work of Mici's original from Printables (couldn't find it on MakerWorld, otherwise I'd have listed that one), I used a little bit of dental floss for the string, and toothpicks for the arrows. The quiver will hold about 5-6 toothpicks at time. I've only included pieces for right-hand archers (not sure if Lara is left or righthanded?), but you can mirror the archers hand and quiver, if you want left-handed.

 

For those without an AMS/multi-material setup, I have provided a separate head/hair on the relevant colour plates.

 

I don't currently have any grey filament, so the weapons I just printed in black, but should look amazing in the two tone.

 

I also don't intend to do a storage box specifically for this model, as it'd just be the words “Tomb Raider” on the lid, and doesn't look very interesting. Shout up if you'd like one though, and I'll see if I can't do something to spice it up.
