Description
Whistle to call hazel grouse. To succeed, try finding the sound of a hazel grouse online or in the forest and try mimic the sound. Focus on the first two tones and just do your best with the last part (its hard but it does not need to be perfect at all), Something like ”Tiiiiii-tiiiii-ti-ti-ti-ti”
This is a closed whistle which is not common when buying hazel grouse game calls in a store. That means that this whistle is more stable in frequency than those and you can whistle with more difference in volume without affecting the result. But also means that its harder to adjust the frequency by blowing in to it.
Look at my other animal calls:

Game calls on 3d printers works good but is hard to distribute as models since the frequency of the whistle is very dependent on your printer and plastic, especially on a high frequency whistle like this. So you might need to enlarge or shrink the model to get the right frequency. You can use a frequency analyzer on your phone to compare the whistle to a recorded hazel grouse.
I have printed it by using standard print settings, 0.4 nozzle, 0.2mm layer hight and 15% infill. But its so small so its a good model to try to use finer nozzles and/or layer heights if you want to.
The exact sound varies a little bit both between individual birds and from part of world:
