Description
My son reached the age of slamming doors opened and closed, so I needed to come up with a way to protect our walls. I saw a number of bumpers on here, but none of them offered much by way of variability, or were far too bulky for my taste. I designed this one to be fairly minimal, and printed in TPU.
It fits on round or oval lever handles from about 15mm to 22mm.
The circle's max diameter without the grippers is 23mm, and then the gripper feet are 1.5mm thick, but it's still thin enough it should stretch a little.
I also designed it to absorb a good deal of impact, and it does this pretty nicely (plenty of slams, and no holes in the walls still 🤞). Of course if you're concerned you could always scale the z-axis so there's a larger surface area in contact with the wall.
Feel free to comment with any concerns, or requests for iteration.
