In this fun, original, family-friendly strategy game, become an animatronic in the Five Nights and Freddy's Pizzeria and head to the office. Take turns rolling the dice and move in any one direction of your choice. Avoid the cameras - or use them to your advantage. Choose the direct route or try and grab the key. There's no wrong way to go, but watch out for the flashlight! Who will get to the security guard first?
This print includes:
- A box to hold all pieces, including a divided part for the small items and an insert to easily take them out. Use it to throw the dice into to avoid it rolling away.
- The box top has a map on how to put together the board game.
- A rule card.
- Nine board pieces that snap together into a map.
- Four player tokens: Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, and Foxy. Have more than 4 players? Print Freddy in yellow to get Golden Freddy, or purple to get Shadow Freddy. Print Foxy in white to get Funtime Foxy, or black for Phantom Foxy. Or make your own!
- Four key tokens.
- Dice.
Back in 2018 when my boys were obsessed with Five Nights at Freddy's, I made a board game for all of us to play for family game night. Now, thanks to 3D printing (and A LOT of work transferring it over), others can enjoy it too! Here are the rules (extended):
- Objective: get from the Start tile to the security guard tile.
- Take turns rolling the dice. Move in any one direction you choose, but not back and forth between tiles in the same turn.
- The blue # spot means you're caught on camera. Move your token to a CAM tile of the same number. This is where the strategy comes in - you can go the opposite direction and avoid the camera or use it to your advantage.
- The F stands for Flashlight. If you land on it, move your token to the Closet tile. You can leave it on your next turn.
- The door symbol is a locked door. In order to be able to open it, you have to move over the key tile and get a key token. You do not have to land on the spot to collect the key, and you get to keep it until the game ends.
- You do not need the exact roll to land on the security guard tile to win. You just have to pass all the hazards.
- First player to get the guard wins!
Important information if you're planning on changing the settings (don't make all my test prints be for nothing):
- Ironing on topmost surfaces is needed for a smooth top. No ironing can make the tokens fall over due to uneven surface.
- I do NOT recommend printing the board game face down on the bed. It does not look nearly as good and loses a lot of detail.
- Wall generator Arachne is recommended for smaller letters.
- Gyroid infill to avoid collisions.
- Outer brim is recommended for the smaller and thinner parts. A .15 Brim-object gap makes it a breeze to remove and avoid adhesion problems.
- For the box top, make sure to keep the First layer filament sequence at Black to keep a black brim while keeping the part sequence the same. Check the preview before printing to make sure the white map and words are shown at the bottom!
- For the rest of the map, set the layer 10 filament sequence to start at black and end at white to make sure the letters are crisp.
- The tokens and dice plate is set to print by object to save filament and time.
Not for children under 3 due to choking hazard!
