Whats new in V3?

In V3 we integrate a different 3d printing trend: click fidget toys. It's not an ‘upgrade’ from V2, rather a new concept of making an (im)practical key hanger fun to use.

Built-in Spring A print-in place spring is combined with the ribbed hanger for a tacticle & satisfying click
Size Comparison Notably smaller and more pocketable than V2 More robust ring attachment
Unlike V2, it still works as a normal key rack if desired

Part of my (Im)practical key hanger series: V1, V2

 

I love all the fun fidget toys from makerworld. Like my previous models, I wanted to turn this trend into something practical and usable daily. After testing dozens of designs from other makers, i've incorporated my favorite spring components into this V3. It's an easy to print model which is cheap on filament. I hope you enjoy, please like & boost if you’d like to see more models!

 

Compatible with all Bambu printers: X1 series, P1 Series, A1, and A1 Mini

 

Instructions

I have uploaded 3 print profiles to choose from:

1. Screw Holes: This version is designed to fit #2 wood screws, and should fit most wall anchors as well
2. No Screw Holes: This version is designed for double-sided mounting tape
3. Print-by-object: This profile only contains the key fobs, but they are configured to ‘print-by-object’ for AMS. This means you can print each fob in a different color without pausing between.

Simply print 1 rack, and three key chains, then mount to your wall.
