Description

Do your trains need a spot to sleep at night? This engine shed gives one engine a spot to rest, or stick multiple together to house the whole fleet.

A bit of CA glue is required for assembly. 10 6mm by 2mm round magnets are optional to secure the roof and to allow multiple sheds to snap together.

Printing and assembly instructions:

  1. Print all the required pieces
    1. The shed piece gets printed right-side-up on its base, with an optional color switch just about 12mm. No supports if your bridging abilities are up to it. The arches for the doors and windows are the tricky bits. The good news is that they don't have to be perfect as the windows and front trim will cover any small imperfections.
    2. Print 7 windows, face down. No supports.
    3. Print the roof on one of the large flat sides. No supports.
    4. Print the front trim, front down. No supports.
  2. Use CA glue to mount the windows and front trim in the openings.
  3. Use CA glue to attach a 6mm by 2mm in each hole. Be mindful of the orientation of the magnets' poles. The magnets on the bases of the shed should be facing north out on one side and south on the other. In the roof, magnets on the shed should both be north facing toward the inside of the shed, and on the roof piece they should be facing south out.
