Description
Pretty much explains itself! Turning the crank will animate the shark as if it's swimming.
The sark is printed in TPU, the other parts can be printed in PLA, PETG, etc.
I din't make the sark myself though, I downloaded it from sketchfab.
All the rest was made with Onshape you can find the project here.
Most of the print snaps together but you will need some glue to glue both halves of the shark together.
You will also need some MR128zz bearings, which you can get from Bambu Lab.
I don't have AMS yet so I decided to paint it a bit.
Assembly:
For reference you can use the onshape assembly.
Step 1 - Insert one of the MR128zz bearings
Step 2 - Slide in the axle and snap into place
Step 3 - Insert the bearings into the gears, make sure you have the right side
Step 4 - Snap the shafts onto the ball joints (both shafts are the same)
Step 5 - Snap the gears with bearings and shafts onto the clips above the main shaft like in the picture
Step 6 - Attach both halves of the shark to the smaller glider
Step 7 - Slide the smaller glider into the slot next to the big gear and fit the shark halves around the tower on the housing
Step 8 - Slide the bigger glider into the free slot and fit it into both shark halves
Step 9 - Snap the shafts onto the gliders
Step 10 - Slide the crank onto the main shaft and insert the feet into the bottom holes (glue is optional)
Step 11 - Make sure everything is correct and glue both shark halves together
Step 12 - Attach the cover, it can be snapped onto housing
It's done!
