Boost MeI was able to spend the time effort and money on filament to completely redesign my original project, thanks to your feedback boosts and support! Boosts help designers continue to release models!
***Instructions Listed Below Please Read***
Â
-Pre Print
Please clean your build plate before printing!! The bearing especially needs a clean surface to adhere properly and give best possible results.
All test prints Ive done have been completely in PLA, all settings are based on PLA.
Make sure you have bed leveling enabled.
The print profile is tested and I have had the best results with these settings, change parameters at your own risk.

Assembly- (Picture shown below)
Drop the drive gear onto the first shaft which is closest to the handle.
Drop The chamfered gear onto the second shaft. Make sure the move the gears to insure the teeth are meshing.
Drop the standard gear assembly onto the first shaft and make sure the teeth are meshing with the chamfered gear.
Drop the Output shaft/output gear onto the second shaft and again, make sure the teeth are meshing with the previous gear.
Make sure all the balls of the bearing are broken loose and the bearing spins smoothly.
Drop the bearing onto the output shaft (It will sit on a built in shoulder on the shaft)
Insert the rip cord and move back and forth. Make sure the assembly is spins all the gears & output shaft.
Gently work the lid into place. It has a built in sleeve that will go over the first shaft and a retainer for the bearing. Do not force this on, it is a tight fit, but just press it in gradually until it is flush.
Take the bolt and remove the support for the driver slot, line it up with the bolt hole on the lid & threads in the handle. Tighten down snugly. It should end with the slot perpendicular to the sides of the handle.
Set the propeller onto the output shaft and have fun!

I got a lot of feedback on my previous design of this propeller launcher so I did a complete overhaul! To be honest, this took entirely too much time and way to many failed attempts to come up with this design. I think this is actually the 6th redesign attempt at this project lol (I've lost count). Despite being new to 3D design and modelling, I think I finally have the best possible result (at least for my current understanding and capabilities).
Â
Thank you to everyone who gave feedback on the previous design, hopefully you all enjoy this one even more!
