Description
Custom name tag : Download this model and Edit your text in Bambu Studio for each of the 2 lines as per your needs. The default model text is for raised text of 1mm above the surface and the letters can be as tall as 8mm. If you want embedded text below the surface, see below for some useful cues on how to do that.
Boost MeLike my custom Name tag design ? You want to say thank you ... Boost me, it's free and simpleFishing tool: The model includes a little rope push tool to fish your rope. The pushing tool is unidirectional, hold the end without the teeth and push your rope in. Hold the rope end that poked out and pull the tool back...voila !
You may also leave the push tool in the hole to squeeze the rope after installation, just snip the ends of the tool and its now an internal rope shim.
No AMS ? No problem, just print this nametag in 1 solid color, will still be plenty visible, an example picture is included is black PLA.
Dimensions : 50mm long x 8mm thick x 15.2mm wide. Rope hole is 5mm⌀ (for a 4mm paracord type 550).
Keychain ring knot :
You like the knot shown in the pictures ? The knot used for the carabineer is a Multiple overhand sliding / scaffold knot if you would like to reproduce a similar knot.
Printing: No supports needed, to be printed flat on the bottom. Perpendicular hole will sag a little. If you encounter 1st layer adhesion, add a brim.
Embedded text : If you look closely at my model, you will note the thickness of the top surface over the hole is taller than on the bottom. This thicker surface is of aprox 1mm intended to give enough meat for a grooved text embedded of about 0.4mm or 0.6mm (2 or 3 multiples of printing layers of 0.2mm). If you want to have a 2 color embedded text, I suggest you edit your text as your need and then select the object "NameTag" to create a "Mesh Boolean" with a right clic menu before painting the different colors.
The Mesh Boolean is permanent and your text will not be editable after this operation. Plenty of good tutorials on the web about this.
