Severance Key Card with NFC

This is a replica of the Lumon Key Cards from the TV series Severance. There is a negative space in the middle and a pause on that layer for you to insert an NFC sticker which can then be programmed to do many different things, such as open links, apps, or anything else you can program an NFC tag to do just by tapping it to your phone or other devices. I have programmed one to unlock my NFC enabled door lock. I have included a link to the tags from BambuLab Maker Supply in the BOM, but any 1 inch (25mm) round NFC sticker will work. (Make sure it's a sticker and not a tag, as it needs to be less than 0.4mm thick) There are many free iOS and Android apps that let you write to NFC tags. I have also included a Blue, Black and Green Key Card variant. Each plate has 4 cards, though you may delete some if you wish to print less than 4. I have also included a 4th plate which has no hole for the NFC tag if you don't wish to use that feature.

I have uploaded this profile with ironing settings that I have tuned and found to work well with my filament and printer. You may need to tune or adjust your ironing settings for your printer and filament for optimal quality. Ironing can also be turned off, but I like the look of a smooth top surface.

 

Update: Added profile to print face down. I would still recommend the original profile for a more realistic smooth finish. You can try my ironing settings included in the profile, but you may have to dial in your ironing settings for a perfect finish.
