⚠️ Make sure your printer has a printing volume of at least 170x175x191mm to make sure you can print the files! (Bambulab A1, P1S and Ender3 are fine). A1 Mini will only work if you downscale the stls by 95%. You'd need to downscale all files, otherwise the pieces might not fit together. Come say hi to our discord server or ask any questions about the files: Discord Invite Find the instructions for setting up your tables for balanced play with this terrain set: Instructions & Print Recipe DISCLAIMER: for this print, having tight tollerances is crucial, if you are not sure if you can print print-in-place mechanisms, check the CALIBRATION FILE ⚠️ Non-manifold / floating regions warning The non-manifold or floating regions warning can be safely ignored. Still, always check the toolpath preview before printing, just to make sure your slicer is not doing anything unusual. This warning appears because the files are built from multiple closed meshes, and some of those meshes share coincident triangular faces so the multicolour geometry lines up correctly. That can trigger a non-manifold warning, but slicers handle it cleanly and it should not affect print quality. The floating regions are also intentional. Most of them are bridges required for the preassembled hinge mechanism, so they do not need supports. ⚠️ About the colour-separated files The files are kept colour-separated on purpose. Most slicers allow you to combine or merge the parts into a single object for printing. If the files were exported only as one single STL, you would lose some slicer control, especially for things like Fuzzy Skin, which makes the stone texture look really nice on monocolour prints too. For Cura: import the parts, select them, right click, then use Merge. If your slicer handles this differently and you get stuck, just let me know and I’ll help you figure it out. +++++++++++++++++++++++ Tinker Junkie is back with more foldable terrain: the NuGoth Imperial Grimdark Layouts Foldable Ruins. These are foldable pieces that lay flat once closed, they do not require assembly, and they are print-in-place. If you have a multicolour printer, you can also print them in two colours straight away. So it is basically print and play, no hassle. This pack was designed around modularity and vertical play. The ruins can fit together like puzzle pieces to configure both L-shaped and U-shaped buildings, with the connection points indicated through small diegetic details so they do not distract on the table. This terrain was originally designed for 10th Edition style layouts, so if you do not mind small discrepancies with the exact current measurements and are more interested in flexibility, tall ruins and dramatic multilevel firefights, this terrain pack is for you. A and C ruins have two levels, while the rest have one. Upgrade packs and dedicated 11th Edition foldable terrain are also available separately. ⚠️ Do not leave any 3D printed part in the sun or in very hot environments, like a car in summer. PLA’s glass transition temperature is around 60 ºC, so be careful with your prints if you do not want warping. +++++++++++++++++++++++ Happy 40k games, and good luck on the dice!
