This Stegomastodon mirificus molar was collected in 1908 in McPherson County, Kansas and was originally classified as Gophotherium elegans. It was 3-D scanned with a NextEngine Desktop 3D scanner at the Smithsonian Natural History Museum Department of Paleobiology on July 26, 2018.
