Traffic signs

This is a small selection of traffic signs - a project for my kids :)

They can be printed in color without a multi-material unit. The different elements are printed with different filament colors and simply plugged together. No glue is required when assembling, the individual parts of a sign fit together so precisely that they hold absolutely firmly. All signs are 5mm high, the inlays are 2mm high.  

The signs shown here are printed on a Prusa MK4 with 0.20mm speed. All signs have a maximum width or height of 20 cm. The filament used was PLA.

The Fusion360 source files are included so that a remix is easier.  For Fusion360 the SVG files of the signs were imported (source: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bildtafel_der_Verkehrszeichen_in_der_Bundesrepublik_Deutschland_seit_2017) . Some of the SVG imports had to be reworked, because some lines were lost during the import. Then the different elements were extruded with 5mm or 2mm and exported according to colors individually as STL.

Dies ist eine kleine Auswahl von Verkehrszeichen - ein Projekt für meine Kinder :)

Sie können ohne eine Multimaterial Einheit farbig gedruckt werden. Dazu werden die unterschiedlichen Elemente mit unterschiedlichem Filamentfarben gedruckt und ganz einfach zusammengesteckt. Beim Zusammenstecken wird kein Klebstoff benötigt, die einzelnen Teile eines Zeichen sind so passgenau, dass sie abolut fest halten. Alle Schilder sind 5mm hoch, die eingelegten Inlays sind 2mm hoch.  

Die hier gezeigten Schilder sind auf einem Prusa MK4 mit 0.20mm Speed gedruckt. Alle Zeichen haben eine maximale Breite bzw. Höhe von 20cm. Als Filament wurde PLA benutzt.

Die Fusion360 Quelldateien sind beigefügt sodass ein Remix einfacher ist.  Für  Fusion360 wurden die SVG Datei der Schilder importiert (Quelle: https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bildtafel_der_Verkehrszeichen_in_der_Bundesrepublik_Deutschland_seit_2017) . Einige SVG Importe mußten nachbearbeitet werden, da beim Import Linienzüge verloren wurden. Danach wurden die unterschiedlichen Elemente mit 5mm bzw. 2mm extrudiert und einzeln entsprechend den Farben als STL exportiert.
