Description
This is a simple muzzle cover for Nerf hobby barrels (16mmOD metal barrels) which adds an orange tip, and prevents core-sampling (injuries from being hit with the exposed end of a metal barrel).
This muzzle does not affect the accuracy or performance of the blaster in any way (it is not a SCAR/PCAR muzzle attachment), it is purely for safety and aesthetics.
This attachment slides over the 16mmOD metal barrel, and is held on with friction from the flexible geometry clamp inside the print.
There are 4 length options (25mm, 50mm, 75mm, and 100mm), and 2 aesthetic options (smooth or striped).
All STLs were exported in the correct print orientation, with the smooth tip of the muzzle facing down.
I printed these with 5 walls, 20% infill, but the settings don't really matter due to the thin walls of the part.
A brim can be used if you have poor bed adhesion on your printer.
