Description
The Pumpkin, not a Slinky, looks like a pumpkin and works like a Slinky, but it is not a Slinky!
This design combines the festive charm of fall with the satisfying motion of a classic toy, but it’s definitely not your ordinary Slinky!
Whether you’re decorating for Halloween or simply want to enjoy the unique fidget factor while experiencing some childhood nostalgia, you'll want to print this model and try it for yourself!
I have included a variety of sizes with differing tolerances. I recommend printing the medium -tighter tolerance version first.
If you have a Bambu Lab printer, use the Bambu Lab file. It includes all pumpkin and stem sizes. Select “Object” and Look at the file names on the right side of Bambu Studio to select the size you want.
Ignore all slicer warnings, they are expected due to the gap made to allow the not a slinky to not slink. Print at your own risk;)
I have experimented with both 0.4mm and 0.5mm tolerances (lower than that tended to fuse the plastic together) and both work. 0.5mm tends to print easier but may be less pretty looking, while 0.4 will require your printer tolerance to be a bit better but will look better.
