UPDATE 1/21/25: Created Animated Assembly Video:

Designed specifically to utilize a new lighter alloy, the new Armored Mech has become a testbed for new offensive and defensive technologies such as the new rail guns and the new expanded homing missile launcher.

So, who here has been enjoying the new Armored Core game? I haven't tried it yet, but I've heard good things and I have been really loving the mech designs. I have been going back into the older games as well and looking towards their mechs for inspiration as well. This mech isn't meant to replicate any Armored Core design specifically, but I was attempting to achieve similar vibes.

I also used this opportunity to try out a new shoulder type I have been tinkering with that will allow for the mounting of different accessories to it, such as here I give the ability to attach shields or the included weapons, but anything with a 3mm port should work with it.

The Armored Mech was designed with a focus on simplicity, durability, and ease of printing.

Joints are achieved through a system of 3mm pins that give just enough friction while also easily removed with pliers (for maximum strength, print these so that the long side of the pin is parallel to the build plate).

3 millimeter ports on the arms, legs, and back allow for cross compatibility with most other model kit accessories.

I hope you enjoy. Please send feedback as I may create improved versions of the figure in the future.

Depending on your printer and plastic, some light sanding and/or tightening of parts may be required. Tightening may be done via thin layers of super glue or multi-surface floor polish.
