Desk Catapult with thumb holder

Fling paper balls at your friends and coworkers with this Desk Catapult - now with a thumb holder!

The catapult can easily fire paper balls up to 3 meters, reaching an altitude of 1 meter. Upscale the print to get better results.

Print instructions

1. Print with PETG or ASA/ABS. Do not print with PLA - spring will shatter due to the brittleness of the material.
2. Works great upscaled to 130%. Would not recommend upscaling over 150%.
3. All layer heights should work well. Would recommend printing with 3 or more perimeters.

How to use

1. Hold the thumb holder and pull arm back until primed.
2. Load ammo - a small paper ball, for example. You could also print the ammo from the second STL file.
3. Strongly press the thumb holder down and instantly release.
4. Enjoy the mild irritation on the faces of your coworkers.

You could also use the two prongs on the sides of the catapult's arm to fire the catapult. You must be careful though - those tend to break after a couple of uses.
