Description
As mentioned on the Table Dice Tower - Vintage Replica, I got inspired by it and took it to the next level.
This means, easier to print parts and a tower capable of rolling modern sized rpg dice.
The Tray
So I made the table tray a bit smaller to fit on regular print beds, like MK3, and reduced the thickness of the bottom to get a higher border. I also changed the curves on the outline profile to print without support. I also decided to go for a hexagonal shape with 3 legs.
The Tower
But the biggest advantage is the tower. I made 3 Versions. First a bigger version of the original with some ripples on the inside. But second a third versions brought up a totally new way to construct rolling paths by using intersecting spheres, the bubbles versions, in round and hexagonal shape. These towers provide a proper tumbling of your dice on a very small footprint.
Printsettings
All files come in print orientation. Everything prints without supports, but on the bubbles tower you'll find small flat areas for bridging. If you don't like the look of this you can use organic supports at an support angle of 25°. The tower is short enough to easily access the supports on the inside, the organic structure makes removal fairly easy.
Disclaimer: The dice in the pictures are my own creation, if you're interested in that, check out my Instagram profile and contact me there. Same for print on demand. I don't have a shop and do commissions and print on demand as my time allows.
