Competition Size Scrabble Letters Set

Competition Scrabble tiles are 19 millimeters by 19 millimeters (0.75 inches by 0.75 inches) in size and 4 millimeters (0.16 inches) thick. They are slightly smaller than the squares on the Scrabble board, but are still large enough to be easily handled and read. 

A standard Scrabble set includes 98 letter tiles and two blank tiles. The letter tiles have score values indicated by a number in the bottom right corner of the tile. The blank tiles have no score value and can be used as any letter.

Scrabble Tile Distribution: 

• 2 blank tiles: Worth 0 points 
• 12 E tiles: Worth 1 point 
• 9 A, I, and O tiles: Worth 1 point 
• 6 N, R, S, and T tiles: Worth 1 point 
• 4 L and U tiles: Worth 1 point 
• 4 D tiles: Worth 2 points 
• 3 G tiles: Worth 2 points 
• 2 B, C, M, and P tiles: Worth 3 points 
• 2 F, H, V, W, and Y tiles: Worth 4 points 
• 1 K tile: Worth 5 points 
• 1 Q and Z tile: Worth 10 points
