Aeon Trespass is such an epic and fantastic game but… SO MANY TOKENS!
A customer came to me to commission a single tray that holds ALL the tokens and dice used in battle, throughout all cycles, well organized, clearly visible, with space for the different pools (to hit, power, kratos). This is the design I came up with and… I think it is gorgeous. And VERY large!
Included designs:
- One tray for Kratos Pool, 8 Kratos tokens, and the 7 different Condition tokens (see my Condition models here). Tray is 284x211x40mm.
- Alternative tray with 5 wells for conditions, if you don't want to use separate tokens for Midas, Pain, Death and Bleeding.
- One tray for To Hit and Power dice pool and ALL modifier tokens (ie, speed, to hit), even secret ones. Tray is 286x188x40mm.
- 2 lids for each of these.
All trays have the right depth in the wells so the number of tokens in the game fit and are at the same level when all are loaded.
Print considerations:
- As well print setups with colors assigned. These are quite large (286mm the biggest) so these are only printable on a large printer like the XL.
- 2 multi bed print setups which require Prusa Slicer 2.9 or higher.
- Nothing complicated, doesn't need support. Tested on Prusa XL with 0.4 nozzle and 0.2 layer height.
- It was designed and should print well with 0.6 nozzle in mind but I have not tested yet.
- With 0.4 nozzle at 0.20 speed profile, this takes 923 grams of material and 32.6 hours.
- With 0.6 nozzle at 0.25 speed profile, 1076 grams and 26 hours.
Edit 24.01.2025. Fixed:
- I learnt that separate tokens for Aether and Oxygen are not necessary, as cycle 5 mechanic requires them to flip over. So you would use a token with Aether on one side, Oxygen on the other.
- The Condition token is only used to represent Death and Bleeding.
- Hence, the new 7 well tray has wells for Aether/Oxygen, Bleeding, Death and none for Condition. See last photo for a render of this final tray (I need to print it!)
- As well, fixed the Facing Indicator well on the Dice/Modifiers tray, it was 1mm too small.
