Make your Hot Wheel Cars into Monster Trucks with this Conversion Kit. Accepts a wide range of Hot Wheel cars.
Check your car compatibility by measuring the spacing of the wheels and the wheel size.
- Gap between the left and right wheel is either 13-14mm or 17-18mm
- Spacing from center to center from the front wheels to the rear wheels is a maximum of 65mm
- Wheel diameter is either roughly 10mm or 12mm. Cars can have the same wheel sizes or a variety of different sizes
Hardware Required
- Monster Truck Wheel Rim Tires Set (1/24 Scale)

- M3 x 6mm screws
- M3 x 12mm screws
- M3 x 16mm screws
- M3 nuts (the ones I got measure 5.4mm face to face. This is important for assembly)
- M3 washers
Printing
- Body x 1
- Either the 14mm or 18mm version depending on your car measurement
- Supports are required along the grooves
- Print with the text facing down
- Suspension x 1
- Axle Set x 2 (there is a left axle and a right axle, you will need 2 each)
- Wheel Spacer x 4 (may be different or not needed depending on which tires you get)
- Wheel Dock x 4
- 10mm and/or 12mm depending on the measured size of the wheels
Other components are optional. Some of them will require supports.
Assembly
- Slide M3 nuts into body. At least two on each side for the wheels, more if you are adding accessories
- Line up the nuts and screw on the Wheel Dock pieces using 6mm screws. Do not completely tighten yet
- Snap the car into place & tighten the screws.
- Optionally, add bumper, exhaust, or pipe accessories using 6mm screws
- Assemble all 4 tires in the following order: 16mm screw - washer - tire - spacer - washer - axle. Once screwed in, back off the screw until the tire spins freely.
- Connect 4 tire assemblies into the Suspension piece using 12mm screws. The “V”s should point inward as shown.
- Screw the Suspension assembly and the Body assembly together using 3 6mm screws
